DSNA Meeting Minutes: February 2025
We did not meet the quorum requirements this Monday (perhaps because of the federal holiday), and so do not have official minutes to post. However we did review some important announcements which I would like to share with you.
We need you on the neighborhood association board - think about president, secretary, treasurer first (those are required by the city to be considered an active neighborhood association) and then if there are more folks, vice-president and parliamentarian. A description of all those positions can be found on our website bylaws page here: Bylaws of the Dunbar/Spring Neighborhood Association.
March 1st deadline to get questions about Downtown Links to Karen Greene to send to Sam Credio for our March meeting.
If you haven't taken the library survey yet, if you hold off until after March 6th, Karen should have some information to share (after it's been shared with the library board). This information might give you something to add in the other comments section of the survey. The survey will be open through the Festival of Books Weekend (March 15-16).
May 3rd, 5-10pm Karen is putting together a fundraising event called Tucson Loves Altadena to support musicians in Altadena who lost instruments in the Eaton fire. It will be at Westbound, in the Mercado and there will be 5 bands - 4 have already said yet (The Determined Luddites, Febbo, Fuentes and O'Connor, Barnaby and the Butcher and Miss Olivia and the Interlopers.) More details as the event gets put together.
We hope to have you join us for the next meeting, March 17, at 7pm. I know that I have certainly enjoyed connecting with the Dunbar Spring folk and engaging with the local issues and concerns that affect our community.
