19th Annual Dunbar/Spring Neighborhood Rain, Tree, & Carbon Planting

Velvet Mesquite Green your yard and help green our streets with water- and mulch-harvesting rain gardens; and native, food-bearing shade trees, which help cool neighborhood temperatures in summer; attract native song birds; reduce downstream flooding; beautify our community; sequester carbon; and clean our air, water, and soil.

Tree Planting:

Saturday, November 22th, 2014

Meet at 7:30am in front of 813 N 9th Ave for demonstrations/training on the work we’ll do, then help your neighbors (and get to know more of your neighbors) as we plant rain, mulch, and trees within water-harvesting basins in the public rights-of-way along our streets.

Tree Ordering:

Place your tree orders (for Shade Trees for your property--$8 each with Rocky Yosek at rocky@treesfortucson.org or (520) 250-8220. (490-8951) by October 31, 2014.

Download the native shade tree order forms or the Native Community Tree Order Form 2014 along with Community-Tree Maintenance Agreement form needed for trees to be planted in public right-of-way
